We always say that the first pair of ballet shoes can change your child’s life and we absolutely believe that! It’s also important to take great care of your ballet shoes for your child’s safety but also so that you can keep those little shoes for when they grow up.
First, make sure that your child’s ballet shoes are worn inside only and always try to keep them dry.
Second, for shoes that have ties, double knot the elastic and cut off the excess elastic. No need to tie them in a bow! The bows will come untied and can be easy for baby ballerinas to trip on when dancing.
Three, carry your shoes in a dance bag to protect them from scuffs and other marks!
